--Voltage and Frequency options are to be selected according to where - in which country or continent on planet Earth-  you operate it.

-- As it left the factory the TD124 could operate on three different voltage ranges and two different AC frequencies.  All of it user selectable.

-- Frequencies: 50 hz and 60 hz

-- Volts: 100-120 vac / 125-150vac / 200-250vac

-- AC frequencies: 50 and 60 hz.  Compensate for the mains frequency used in your country by chosing between two different motor pulley sizes, both of which are available on the same object.  One end is larger in diameter than the other. When mounted on the motor, the lower pulley drives the belt. The pulley is a close precision fit (no slop) over the E50 motor shaft.  It is held by two internal hex set screws 180° apart. Some vertical adjustment is needed to find level with the drive wheel on the driven stepped pulley.

-- Above two photos.  With the platter assembly removed -- and the power cord unplugged. TD124 first version voltage commutator  Same as for the mk II except there is no cover plate. A machine screw with oversized Bakelite-head is inserted into the internal threads of the voltage range you select.  The voltage range selected in the image above is 100-120 vac,  For use in the North American power grid. (110 -120 vac @ 60 hz)  Cautionary note: be careful not to chip the bakelite head with your screwdriver. The Bakelite is fragile. And you can't find replacements for it! This type of screw works better using just your fingers. And, by the way, it does complete an electrical circuit at the voltage indicated!

-- Above 3 photos: Operational access to the voltage commutator on the TD124 mkII.  On this version there's a cover plate held by two nuts. Remove the nuts to gain access to the commutator.  Then make your selection. But first, make certain the power cord is unplugged!

-- Select between 100-120 vac, 125-150 vac, and 200-250 vac, by inserting the machine screw provided into the noted internal threads on the commutator.  Then put the cover plate back with its hex nuts snug but not over tightened.
