This Technics SP-10 mk3 was restored by Bill Thalmann of Music Technology. He replaced all capacitors and calibrated the servo. The speed stability and low noise floor are superb. The plinth is the Technics SH-10B5 obsidian plinth which weighs about 19kg. The armboard came from Mirko Djordjevic of Classic Turntables, Inc. and is machined from solid aluminum about 1.5” thick. The arm is the SME IV with Benz LPS cartridge, connected with a Graham IC-70 balanced cable.
